“Wisdom Does Not Come Overnight” Traditionally as our children grow in their families and communities they are given values and training that will enable them to make wise decisions

about the road in life they will travel. Each generation has been called upon to assist its young people into becoming adults. Rites of Passage was a vision of Pastor Willie F. Wilson for boys and girls under the Orita Youth Program. The female rites of passage started in 1984 with 40 girls completing a two-day weekend training. Over the last 30 years, The Womanhood Training Program has expanded to a two year program which begins with 72 hours of extensive weekend teaching; and over 150 hours of training and enrichment that continues throughout the two-year cycle.
