Womanhood Training Needs You!
Are you looking for a way to make a difference in your community by shaping the life of a young girl?
WHT is an African-centered rites of passage program dedicated to transforming, nurturing, empowering, and enriching the lives of young girls from the ages of 12 – 17 as they journey into womanhood.
We provide extensive programming and enrichment activities centered on:
- Spiritual Development,
- Cultural Awareness,
- Social Responsibility,
- Self Identity and Awareness, and
- Holistic Health.
We are currently seeking African-American women that are willing to commit and maintain a one-on-one nurturing relationship with our girls and help usher them into womanhood.
Requirements for WHT Mentor
- African-American Women over the age of 25 currently living in the DMV
- Able to commit for 2 years for one hour a week and every 3rd Saturday
